What it is

It is documented here because it occupies a slot in the sidebar and therefore appears in navigation and global search like any other entry.
Why it matters
The product's own help surface is reachable from inside the product, which is where people look for it.
Documentation that lives only on a marketing site gets found once, during evaluation, and never again at the moment someone actually has a question.
